To help our community stay healthy during the coronavirus pandemic, JDRF will be reimagining events through 6/30/20 rather than hosting in person gatherings – details to follow.

Dear Friends,
We take our responsibility to the diabetes community seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19, following guidance from the CDC as well as local health and government authorities.
To minimize unnecessary risk, Cheers to Our Heroes will not take place in person.
We are taking a variety of approaches to share progress and engage with each other through creative and virtual gatherings.
Please join us from the comfort of your own home as we recognize the inspirational strength of our T1D community and commemorate JDRF's 50th Anniversary with our virtual event, THE POWER OF US on Saturday, May 2, 2020.
Our No. 1 priority is our people. Please know, we are here for you. We recognize that the facts about COVID-19 are ever-emerging, and that the uncertainty can be unsettling. As always, we remain committed to driving our mission forward – and that means continuing to raise funds to support research for a cure. T1D never takes a day off, and neither do we.
Sincerely,
JDRF New Jersey Metro & Rockland County Chapter
