To help our community stay healthy during the coronavirus pandemic, JDRF will be reimagining events through 6/30/20 rather than hosting in person gatherings – details to follow.
 

Dear Friends,

We hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy through these unprecedented times.   To those who have been personally impacted by COVID-19, either directly or indirectly, our hearts go out you.

After much thought and discussion, we, along with our event volunteer leadership have come to the conclusion that not hosting an event in this calendar year is in the best interest of our community and the event’s future. 

We have already started planning for an amazing event in 2021 and will be announcing that date soon. We can't wait to see you on the course!

Even though we won't be gathering in person, you can still make an impact on the lives of so many.  Now through the end of June all donations made through Fund A Cure will be matched up to $1 million through the generosity of a local family. If you are able, please consider making a contribution.

The Power of Us

If you missed the live stream of The Power of Us, hosted by T1D Dad and Magician David Corsaro you can watch here.  The 30 minute program featured JDRF CEO & President Dr. Aaron Kowalski and debuted #StrongerTogether—a short video with the familiar faces of our chapter’s Youth Ambassadors, Board Members, and Outreach Volunteers living with T1D.

Format

The JDRF Golf Classic is a shamble - a variation of a scramble.  All players tee off and select the best drive.  Players then continue play from that position.

 

On Course Contests

Mulligans can be purchased during Check-In only.  Course Contests include Closest to the Pin, Straightest Drive, Beat the Pro, Hit the Green, and Hole-In-One.

 

Raffles and Auction

Our cocktail reception features a Silent Auction and a Tricky Tray Raffle.  Bidding on auction items and purchasing raffle tickets can be done during lunch and during the evening program.

 

Our Mega Raffle is available for sale prior to the event and throughout the tournament. Tickets are $25 each/$100 for a book for 5.  The winner will be pulled during the evening’s program. Prizes TBA
